In high school I took a film history class as a required art credit. The class was intriguing, and it made me want to continue in film, either as a hobby or a career. When the class was over I decided to go home and find out more for myself about what I could do to be professional when it came to making short films. I came across a business that sold video editing software for a decent price. Because I did not have much knowledge of what made a quality program, I inquired on their website to the video editing reviews. Many people seemed to think they were amazing, and the reviews were very positive overall. I saved money away for a few months, and then finally bought their program.
